Seniors from the Academy of Richmond County High School participated in the district’s Teach in the Peach Signing Day event on May 11, 2026. As part of the district-wide program in Augusta graduating students made a formal commitment to future career pathways related to the field of education. The purpose of the event was to recognize students who plan to pursue careers in teaching and education-related professional training following graduation. School districts continue to use career signing events to promote workforce development and to create interest in education professions among graduating seniors.
