West Town Elementary has had some notable accomplishments this year in 2025. The school performed well during the GMAS assessment, and on the whole, the Georgia Department of Education has recognized West Town as a Literacy Leader. West Town's Robotics Team qualified for the FIRST LEGO League state tournament. In August, West Town School officials opened a School-Based Health Center located on campus to help improve student well-being. The school uses the "Leaping Lexile" program to provide support in improving reading skills. West Town also observed Unity Day on October 22, which featured programming to raise awareness about kindness, antibullying, and respect.
