Dougherty Comprehensive High School ninth-grader Kelsey Salter placed 1st in the nation in 9th Grade Social Studies at the 2025 National Beta Club Convention. The Georgia State School Superintendent also came to Albany to honor the school as a statewide Literacy and Math Leader. Also, members of the Civics club will represent the Dougherty County School System at the 82nd Youth Assembly Conference, continuing a strong tradition of community and leadership excellence at the school.
