Lakemont Elementary School earned another “A” school rating in 2026, and Principal Karl Fox was named Cadre’s Principal of the Year for his leadership in the district. The school also held its annual Senior Clap Out, welcoming back former students of the Class of 2026 before graduation. Enrichment activities included interactive learning programs, field trips to the Orlando History Center, and special reading-related programs for high-achieving readers. Students were also recognized during the school’s monthly recognition activities for kindness, compassion, and respect toward classmates throughout the year.
