In 2026, Aloma Elementary School improved its state school grade from a “C” to a “B” during the academic year. The school also welcomed former students from the Class of 2026 back to campus for a special alumni celebration before their high school graduation. Students participated in reading activities through the district’s “Let’s Read OCPS!” challenge, while classrooms also held projects such as book-themed reading activities and fabric tie-dye art lessons. Staff members were also recognized at the district’s 2025–2026 Stellar Awards for their work in supporting student learning and school activities.
