On April 21, 2026, Lithia Springs Elementary School posted an update about reading support that focused on New Worlds Reading for students in VPK through fifth grade. The program sends nine free books to each eligible student every year, along with family reading activities and guides. You can get materials in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Braille. The update gives families a simple way to help their kids read better at home and build their confidence, practice regularly, and develop better reading habits outside of school.
