Being Updated
South Lake Elementary recently hosted a “Shark Market” event, where students turned the campus into a lively marketplace. Children created and presented their own business ideas, learning real-world concepts like entrepreneurship, goods, and services. This reflects a strong focus on hands-on, experiential learning and financial literacy at an early age. South Lake continues to emphasize STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) through initiatives like: “Shark Tank”-style innovation challenges, Coding, robotics, and engineering projects, Creative programs like art, music, and design labs. These programs help students build future-ready skills and creativity.
