Being Updated
A community-driven art initiative is making a comeback at the school after earlier removal of public crosswalk art in Tallahassee. The artwork is being reinstalled on school grounds (as fence art), preserving the creativity and community effort behind it. Why this matters: Keeps student and community creativity alive, Strengthens school-community collaboration and Enhances the visual and cultural environment of the campus. The school is part of a major early education expansion in Leon County. Head Start classrooms launched in 2026 at Hartsfield to serve younger children (as early as age 3).
