In February 2026, the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) hosted the South Regional Academic Bowl for Deaf Middle School students on its campus. Students from different schools in the area came together for the event. They had to work together to win academic challenges and rounds. Students from FSDB worked together to compete in the competition and show off their school. The event showed how much students cared about their studies and let them meet other students who went to the same type of school.
