Deaf HS (FSDB) in St. Augustine had some of their student-athletes were recognized at the regional level. The school also held an event to get people involved in the community, raise awareness of American Sign Language, show off student leadership, and strengthen ties between the campus and the community as a whole.
Q1. Is FSDB a school where people live?
Ans. Yes, students may be able to live on campus during the school year.
Q2. How do people at the school talk to each other?
Ans. The school mostly uses American Sign Language (ASL) and other ways to help people talk to each other.
Q3. Do students have access to extracurricular activities?
Ans. Yes, students can take part in sports, clubs, and arts programs that have been changed to fit their needs.
Q4. Does the school take students from all over the state?
Ans. Yes, FSDB helps students from all over Florida.
Q5. Is there help for life after HS?
Ans. Yes, the program teaches people how to plan for the future, get a job, and live on their own.
