Deaf Elementary School (FSDB) recently recognized the accomplishments of its students by naming its 2026 valedictorian and salutatorian in the deaf department. The honor of valedictorian has been awarded to Brenna Freeman, while Jocelyn Dagenais has been named salutatorian. Both students earned these designations for their hard work, commitment, and excellence throughout their educational careers at FSDB.
Q1. Are there residential programs for elementary students at FSDB?
Ans. The FSDB offers programs wherein eligible students reside in supervised dormitories throughout the week, helping them develop and learn through organized and planned programs.
Q2. What are the communication techniques used at FSDB for educating deaf students?
Ans. Bilingualism is the approach adopted by FSDB, which uses American Sign Language in conjunction with English to enable students’ development in communication.
Q3. Are there extracurricular activities for elementary students at FSDB?
Ans. Students can engage themselves in various extracurricular activities as per their age group, which would enhance their social/personal development.
Q4. Does FSDB provide transportation to students?
Ans. Transportation is provided to students depending upon whether they are enrolled as day or residential students.
Q5. How do parents get involved in the education process of their children?
Ans. The involvement of parents can be facilitated by communicating with faculty members and engaging in other school-related events.
