The SCPS Consequence Unit is currently putting into action a new program called "restorative practices" that will help students learn important social and emotional skills while keeping up with their schoolwork. The program has added better trauma-informed learning spaces to make things easier for students as they work toward going back to their regular schools. To help families even more, the unit has also added more resources for reaching out to parents. They now offer regular workshops on how to communicate effectively and help students succeed.
