Liberty Pines Academy wrapped up its first semester as a premier K-8 leadership center, and students are making great progress in academic research and civic advocacy. The academy’s middle school athletics department returned with multiple district championships, creating a high level of pride and sportsmanship on campus. The school also held a very successful “Transition Fair” to assist elementary school students and their families in making the leap to the middle school grades.

Ans. Students stay on one campus for 9 years, so they form deep relationships with staff and are much less anxious about transitions.

Q2. Are there any leadership positions that Liberty Pines Academy offers to middle-school grade students?

Ans. Our “Leadership Academy” allows older students to lead community service projects and mentor younger elementary students on campus daily.

Q3. What are the competitive athletic programs available to students at Liberty Pines Academy this year?

Ans. We have many different kinds of team sports like basketball and soccer. We focus on physical health, teamwork and high level campus sportsmanship.

Q4. How does Liberty Pines Academy incorporate the “Core Knowledge” into the daily science and history curriculum?

Ans. Each semester students study historical and scientific topics in depth using high-quality resources that go beyond standard state requirements.

Q5. Does Liberty Pines Academy have workshops for parents about supporting student college-readiness?

Ans. We are conducting “Future Path” seminars for parents to teach them how to create a college-going culture with their children from early on.
