Cunningham Creek Elementary School recently celebrated its ongoing “A” rating as a school, in recognition of the high academic performance and dedication of its students and staff. The campus held its annual “Cardinals Care” community service day, where students worked together on projects that benefited local St. Johns charities. The school’s robotics team also took top honors at a recent regional STEM competition, demonstrating their creative problem-solving skills.
Q1. What does Cunningham Creek El (K-3) do for student safety at morning arrival on Roberts Road?
Ans. We have a supervised car-rider loop and staff committed to getting students safely into the building each day.
Q2. Are there any special programs at Cunningham Creek El for students interested in robotics/engineering?
Ans. Our students engage in hands-on STEM challenges and engineering projects that inspire young interest in technical and scientific careers.
Q3. What does Cunningham Creek El do to help students who are new to the St. Johns community?
Ans. Our school counselor does “Newcomer Socials” to help new students get acquainted with each other and our school.
Q4. Are there any student run clubs at Cunningham Creek El for community service or local charities?
Ans. “Cardinals Care” enables students to take the lead on local service projects, fostering a strong sense of civic responsibility and kindness.
Q5. What are the ways parents at Cunningham Creek El get involved in the school-wide reading celebrations and events that occur throughout the year?
Ans. We invite parents to attend our literacy festivals and serve as guest readers in recognition of student reading milestones.
