In 2026, Cypress Trails Elementary School continued its “A” school rating for academic performance and student growth. Assistant Principal Lauren Hall was also recognized as a finalist for the Central Region Assistant Principal of the Year award for her work with the school’s House System program. The school gained additional attention when author James Patterson visited the campus to highlight classroom literacy programs and reading instruction.
