Timber Creek HS is setting the standard for safety on campus because it was one of the first schools in the district to test new weapons detection technology, such as the OPENGATE and Evolv eXpedite systems. The school's programming team recently came in the top three in the state at the UCF HS Programming Tournament. This makes them the best public school in the competition.
