Shenandoah Elementary is participating in OCPS's district-wide "Let's Read!" reading challenge, which runs through the spring semester and aims to encourage students to develop a love of reading through a collective community goal. The school has also encouraged families to complete the active OCPS ESE Parent Survey for the current school year, part of the district's broader effort to gather feedback and shape how programs are delivered at each campus.
Q1. Does Shenandoah Elementary offer a GATE program?
Ans. Shenandoah Elementary does run a Gifted and Talented Education program through Orange County Public Schools. Families who feel their child may qualify should speak with their child's teacher, who can initiate the referral within OCPS's standard evaluation process.
