Palmetto Elementary continued serving its large south-central Orlando student community through the current school year with bilingual and ELD instruction integrated across all grade levels. The school participated in OCPS's Black History Month "Still I Rise" celebration and the Let's Read reading challenge. With 835 students and 47 teachers, Palmetto is one of the larger OCPS elementary campuses in its corridor, and the school's Gifted and Talented program continues to serve identified students through the standard OCPS referral process. Families can connect through ParentSquare and the official school website.

Ans. Palmetto Elementary does offer a Gifted and Talented program through Orange County Public Schools. With 835 students and 47 teachers, the campus supports a wide range of academic needs. Families interested in the GT referral process should speak with the classroom teacher in the fall semester to get into the evaluation cycle before it closes.
