Oak Hill Elementary opened the current school year with its new leadership team framing the campus culture around the EMPOWER principle — nurturing individual talents and building community through open communication with families. The school participated in OCPS's Resiliency Day celebration, the Black History Month "Still I Rise" showcase, and the Let's Read reading challenge. The school's first bell rings at 8:40 AM and the campus serves the South Hiawassee Road residential community with 453 students and 30 teachers.
