Recently, students from Meadow Woods Middle School took part in the Special Olympics Regional Games and did very well in a number of events. One student won both the 50m walk and the tennis ball throw. Students were able to participate in the event, compete, and represent their school. These kinds of activities show that students are involved in sports and school programs outside of regular school hours.
