Lawton Chiles Elementary kicked off the second half of the school year with Field Day preparations and a series of spring events, including Read Across America activities and a debate club event where students practiced public speaking. Principal Allison Garske shared updates with He-Coon families through ParentSquare, including a spring events calendar with multiple upcoming activities through April. The school participated in the OCPS Let's Read reading challenge and remained active in OCPS's family engagement programming. Garske's ongoing focus on building a school where every He-Coon feels at home continues to shape the campus culture through the current semester.
