Lake Weston Elementary continued serving the Milan Drive community through the current school year, with bilingual instruction embedded across all five grade levels for its predominantly Hispanic student population. The school participated in OCPS's district-wide Let's Read reading challenge and Black History Month "Still I Rise" showcase. Lake Weston's Gifted and Talented program is active for the current year, and families can connect through ParentSquare and the school website at lakewestones.ocps.net. The school's 13:1 student-teacher ratio remains one of the better figures among OCPS elementary schools of comparable size.
