Hidden Oaks Elementary is actively participating in OCPS's district-wide Let's Read reading challenge, which runs through April and encourages students to read for enjoyment while building a lifelong habit. The school joined OCPS's Black History Month "Still I Rise" showcase events and continued running its Gifted and Talented program through the current semester. With a student-teacher ratio of 13:1, Hidden Oaks remains one of the more teacher-dense elementary campuses in southeast Orlando, giving students consistent adult support throughout the school day.
