In May 2026, Citrus Elementary School in Ocoee had a celebration of Resiliency Day and honored a pupil for excelling in the local OCPS Math Bee contest. They also had their yearly “Heritage of the Hive” festival with cultural presentations. New speed detection cameras are put up in Clarke Road for safety around the school zone.
