The 2026 Middle School Academic WorldQuest competition was won by a group of seventh graders from Oakridge Middle School. In the Collier County contest, Santiago Grana, John "JT" Haney, Jordan Rodriguez, and Joseph "Nolen" Walter beat out 27 other teams. The win was in a regional academic competition about current events and knowledge of the world.
