Highland Oaks Middle School opened a new Innovation Space in the HOMS media center in late August 2025. There is a lot of technology in it. The Orange Bowl, the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and the College Football Playoff Foundation all worked together to make it happen. Students could work together more easily and use new learning tools in the new space.
