The Miami-Dade County School Board just gave the go-ahead for a $26.1 million renovation project that will include Glades Middle School. Part of the work is putting in new windows, doors, and frames in Building 01. The HVAC and emergency management systems in eight other buildings will also be improved. The job also involves putting in a new fire alarm system for the whole campus that can talk to people. New floors, ceilings, and lights, as well as repairs to the tennis and basketball courts, are some of the other improvements. The project costs a lot of money to improve the campus buildings and grounds.
