Recently Biotech@Richmond Heights 9-12 HS student researchers took first place at the 2026 “Growing Beyond Earth” symposium for their study of sustainable agriculture in space-like conditions. The school still taps into its special relationships with Zoo Miami and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden to provide hands-on conservation biology experiences. In April 2026, students were recognized for success in the Elie Wiesel Ethics Contest and other academic competitions.
