The Beacon Cove Intermediate School has come under notice because it has acknowledged one of their artists Arya Ortega for having won the 21st District Congressional Youth Art Competition of 2025. The theme of her art was agriculture and she won among 230 other submissions. She qualified to have her artwork displayed in Washington, D.C. Her success highlights the growing significance of visual arts, performing arts, and communication skills at Beacon Cove, making it known as a Florida "School of Excellence.
