It was recently reported that Duval County Public Schools began to invest more in specialized tutoring services and interventions for elementary schools, including Timucuan, which helps improve the overall results and effectiveness of the students' learning process. Additionally, Timucuan Elementary School will be participating in other district-level initiatives focused on improving attendance and early literacy among Florida students.
