Recent improvements at Oceanway Elementary School have included a continuation of efforts to ensure student involvement and safety at the school in Duval County Public Schools. Oceanway has taken part in events and programs conducted by the district, which include reading and math improvement along with extra-curricular events, which were made possible thanks to support from PTA and the community. According to recent statements from school officials, there have been efforts to improve learning in the classroom as well as family involvement to foster growth and engagement from students.
