The latest development regarding Normandy Village Elementary School demonstrates that the District is currently involved in several long-range planning activities at Normandy Village Elementary School as well as throughout the district. For instance, Normandy Village was one of the schools involved in the district-wide planning that occurred in 2025 with regard to facility and boundary planning. The primary objective of such discussions is the effective use of resources and improvement of student performance at various Westside Jacksonville schools. Additionally, community involvement in decision-making processes is being facilitated through meetings where parents can actively participate in zoning issues.
