In 2025, John Stockton Elementary families were able to apply for Free and Reduced-Price Meals. Duval Schools celebrated their first-ever "A" rating in the meantime. Earlier, the false news about the school getting demolished had been addressed, and it was confirmed that the school is as safe as it was prior to the story. John Stockton Elementary was also spared closure, under the Master Facility Plan; however, anxious parents did advocate after the proposed addition, which would have replaced portable classrooms, had been eliminated from the Master Facility Plan. Overall, parents and stakeholders continue to seek facility improvements they have demonstrated they feel essential.
