An important milestone is in progress for Hogan-Spring Glen Elementary School as the Duval County Public Schools have commenced plans to construct a new school in the place of the old one. The planning process for the construction process has started, and the demolition of the old school is scheduled for 2026, followed by the construction of the new school, which will be ready in August 2027. This modernized school will have the ability to accommodate a large number of students than the previous school.
Q1. What extracurricular programs are offered by the school?
Ans. There are various elementary level enrichment programs that include arts integration, student clubs, and season-based academic programs provided by Duval County Public Schools.
Q2. Are there any special education facilities at the school?
Ans. Yes, there are special educational facilities in the form of Individualized Education Plans, Resource Support, and Inclusion-based Instruction at the institution.
Q3. Are there any pre/post-school care facilities?
Ans. Extended care is usually available for the children of working parents.
Q4. What sort of security measures has the institution taken?
Ans. All security protocols, including controlled access to the school campus and emergency drills, are maintained as per the district policy.
Q5. What provisions do they have for English Language Learners?
Ans. The institution offers ESOL services to their English Language Learners.
