The City of Homestead announced a Safe Routes to School project specifically for Redondo Elementary. Proposed upgrades include: New multi-use walking and biking paths and Improved connectivity around the school. Enhanced pedestrian safety for students and families. This is a significant positive development because it directly improves: Student safety, Accessibility to school and Walkability of the surrounding community. Around 80% of students attend school regularly, which is higher than district and state averages. High attendance indicates: Strong student engagement, Consistent learning environment and Positive school culture
