The Goulds Elementary School recently unveiled a “Buddy Bench”, a special space where students can go when they feel lonely or need a friend. The initiative is designed to: Encourage friendship and inclusion, Provide emotional support for students and Reduce bullying through peer connection. This is a strong social-emotional learning initiative, helping create a more compassionate and supportive school culture. The Buddy Bench project was made possible through collaboration with organizations like The Children’s Trust and community partners. This reflects: Active community involvement in education and Additional resources and support systems for students
