A new “mini pitch” was inaugurated recently at nearby Bright Park under the Miami-Dade Soccer Initiative, thus increasing recreational sports options within the community. The facilities provide free play activities and organized events for pupils of Flamingo Elementary School. This is expected to promote physical fitness as well as instill team spirit among the young generation.
