P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School, located in Gainesville, Florida, is distinguished by its K-12 education of a unique design by being affiliated with the University of Florida. P.K. Yonge incorporates research to determine relevant real-life experiences to assist children in becoming their best academic, creative, and other selves. In 2024, about 77% of fourth-grade students met or exceeded the state reading standards, which is above the state average of 53% and again demonstrates the strong emphasis P.K. Yonge puts on literacy. P.K. Yonge has also achieved national recognition for excellence in its engineering program, as well as having an overall rating of 9/10 for performance. Rental properties available in the vicinity are in the approximately $1000 - $1800 range for families. With results like this, it is undoubtedly one of the best elementary schools in Florida.
