Students at Wright Elementary School showed off their coding and engineering projects at the 2026 FIRST® Explore Festival, a regional STEM competition. Projects to improve the school campus include a new cafetorium building, a paved car rider area and a covered PE pavilion for student activities. During the school year, teachers received classroom grants for classroom materials and hands-on learning projects. Wright Elementary School was also recognized for its Purple Star School status for supporting military-connected students and families.
