Palm Terrace Elementary School recently concluded a school-wide “Kindness Initiative” where students were given “Positive Palms” for demonstrating extra empathy and helpfulness towards their fellow students each day. The campus has successfully launched its new “Urban Garden Project,” giving students a hands-on space to study local botany and the importance of sustainable food sources. The school was also regionally recognized for its strong after-school enrichment programs in choral music and traditional dance.
