Santa Rosa is a busy city in Sonoma County, California, with a population of about 178,000. This is the biggest city in the county. Santa Rosa is in the middle of California Wine Country and is about 55 miles north of San Francisco. There are parks, coastal mountain ranges, and rolling vineyards all around it. The city has a well-rounded way of life. There are suburban neighborhoods, a growing downtown area, and easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and beaches on the Pacific Coast.
