The Santa Barbara County Education Office named Amanda Wildhagen, an instructional coach at Fairlawn Elementary School in the Santa Maria-Bonita School District, a 2026 Distinguished Mentor. At the 12th annual A Salute to Teachers gala, she is being honored for being a great teacher and helping her peers.
