Ans. The types of extracurricular activities vary from school to school, but generally include many different clubs, arts programs, and athletics that allow students the chance to participate in something beyond the classroom.

Ans. Schools can communicate with parents about their students’ progress through several means, including providing students with ongoing progress reports, holding regular parent-teacher conferences, utilizing digital communication tools such as email, school websites, and social media, etc., and providing families with a way to stay informed about their student’s academic progress and current events.
Q3. Are there ways for students to be involved in leadership and/or have opportunities for leadership?
Ans. There are opportunities for students to hold positions of leadership by participating in student councils, mentoring peers and being involved in school-wide activities that demonstrate responsibility and develop teamwork skills.
Q4. What kinds of support services does a student have, if they require additional assistance?
Ans. Students may receive additional academic support through tutoring, intervention programs and through access to specialized personnel and facilities capable of meeting the specific learning needs of each individual student.
Q5. How does a school encourage a positive, inclusive environment?
Ans. A school encourages an inclusive environment by utilizing policies, procedures, guidelines, and programs that define and regulate expected behavior, encourage respect for others, provide curriculum that fosters appreciation of diversity and offer activities that develop and strengthen a positive school culture and community.
