For the second year, Las Sendas Elementary is leading the way in hands-on science education with its Agrivoltaics Initiative, a program involving solar energy and agriculture to learn about sustainability. One of the teachers, Dawn Silva, was awarded as a 12News A+ Teacher for her willingness to share her efforts. The school has many exciting events ahead including the Kinder Literacy Parade at 8:45 AM and InMotion Yoga from 2-3 PM on October 31, 2025. These events enhance the student's wellness and development of themselves.
