Regular School Hours

All Grades: The school went into lockdown on May 13, 2025, after a drive-by shooting in the Rancho El Dorado subdivision nearby set off the safety protocol. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and classes went back to normal that same day. In March 2025, the school district showed off a new, all-encompassing plan to improve math teaching at Pima Butte. It included small-group lessons, set times for intervention, and the use of manipulatives to help students do better.
