FAQ

Q1: What time should a student get to school the earliest?

Ans: The school usually lets students come as early as possible, which is usually when supervision starts (for example, at 8:00 a.m. or just before the 8:10 a.m. start of the instructional day).

Q2: How do parents find out about their child's grades and attendance?

Ans: Parents can get this information through the district's portal, ParentVUE, which they can use on their phones or computers.

Q3: Do all students get laptops?

Ans: Every day, students in grades 3 through 12 in the district bring their own laptop and charger. There are computers for students to use at all of the elementary schools (PreK-2).

Q4: What should a student do if they forget their laptop at home?

Ans: If a student forgets their device at home, they will need to go to the front office to borrow a laptop for the day.

Q5: What should a parent do first if they have a question about the curriculum?

Ans: The MUSD Guide to Solving Problems says that the first thing to do is to get in touch with the Classroom Teacher. If that doesn't work, the next step is the Principal.
