Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Matteson, a 4th-grade Traditional Academy teacher, was recently honored as the January 2026 Teacher of the Month and received the Sean Woods Wooden Apple Award for her excellence in the classroom.

Ans. yes. Students in grades K–8 who live in the Liberty Elementary School District and meet certain requirements can take the bus. Families can verify their eligibility and routes by calling the district's transportation office.

Ans. Students take tests that the state requires, like Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment (AASA). Tests, projects, and performance tasks that are part of the school's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) curriculum are also used by teachers.
