The school wants its K–2 students to be 95% proficient in knowing their letter sounds and reading well. At the same time, the 3rd to 5th graders are doing book studies and writing projects.

Sechrist said on social media that they got an A rating. They mentioned that five students got perfect scores on last year's state test.
