Students and staff at Mesquite Elementary celebrated their first annual STEAM Fest on April 29, 2025, showcasing hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities for the entire school community
Q1. What special learning programs does Mesquite Elementary School have?"
Mesquite Elementary helps all of its students by offering English Language Learner (ELL) support, special education services, and classes for gifted students.
Q2. What can Mesquite Elementary students do after school?
Ans. Yes, the school has a lot of after-school activities and clubs, like reading, art, robotics, and sports clubs. These are meant to help kids be creative and work together.
Q3. What kinds of technology does the school use in the classroom?
Ans. To get students more involved and teach them how to use technology better, Mesquite Elementary uses modern tools like Chromebooks, interactive smartboards, and online learning platforms.
Q4. Do schools want parents to come to events at school?
Yes, of course. Parents are encouraged to join the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), go to school events, and help with programs in the classroom and in the community to make the school-family relationship stronger.
Q5. How does the school protect students?
Ans. The school puts safety first by making sure that all students can safely enter the campus, having staff watch over them, practicing emergency drills, and having a zero-tolerance policy against bullying. This makes sure that every student can learn in a place that is safe and respectful.
