The state of Arizona has given the school a "B" rating and called it a "Highly Performing School." The school is proud of these honors. The school says it has outgrown state standards and continues to stress the idea of "progress over perfection."

Ans: The Buckeye Elementary School District offers breakfast for $1.90 and lunch for $3.35 for students who pay. Students are encouraged to apply for free or reduced meals.

Ans: Parents need to call 623-866-6007 or send an email every day to let us know if their child is going to be absent.
Q3: Are bikes and scooters allowed on campus? What are the rules?
Ans: Yes, students can ride bikes, skateboards, or scooters to and from school. There are racks for them. You must bring locks; the school is not responsible for your things.
Q4: What do you do with wireless devices and cell phones?
Ans: Students in grades 5–8 must turn off their electronic devices and lock them in a locker, while students in grades K–4 must leave them in their backpacks.
Q5: What kinds of academic help or programs does the school offer?
Ans: The school is part of the district's program. For more information, families should ask about gifted programs, enrichment, and support services.
Q6: What can parents do to help?
Ans: The school stresses communication and asks parents to call or email with questions or concerns. They can also check with the office for ways to help out.
Q7: What kinds of transportation are there?
Ans: Students who live east of Watson Rd. can take the bus to school, and all students take part in bus safety drills.
Q8: What should families think about when it comes to lunch payments or accounts?
Ans: Parents can put money into a child's account with cash or a check, or they can pay online. To find out if you qualify, you need to fill out a free or reduced meal application.
